THE EXPERIENCE
Discover Shees Park
Shees Park is a landscaped mountain recreation area rather than a remote hiking trail. Its artificial waterfall and planting give the lower areas a sightseeing focus, while three terraces connected by stone stairs lead toward a viewpoint. Choose according to your group's comfort with steps instead of assuming every part is a flat stroll.
Families can use play areas and shaded seating without making the upper viewpoint compulsory. Barbecuing belongs in designated areas; check entry arrangements before departure. Nearby homes and agricultural land deserve privacy, and a park visit does not grant access to private farms. Allow time for the mountain approach rather than treating this as a city playground. Carry water even for a short walk.
The lower waterfall area and higher terraces can be treated as separate choices. A group does not need to climb every level to appreciate the mountain setting. Agree on a meeting point before anyone takes the stairs, especially if children or relatives prefer to remain near shaded seating.
