THE EXPERIENCE
Discover Al Majaz Waterfront
Al Majaz is a lagoon-side leisure district rather than one attraction with a single programme. Shurooq describes a jogging track, play areas, a splash park, dining and water activities. Choose a walk or meal first, then add a specific activity if it suits the group.
The musical fountain provides a reason to return after dark, but check actual operation rather than relying on an assumed daily schedule. Boat tours, kayaking and play facilities have their own terms; public waterfront access does not establish that every activity is included. With children, choose a meeting point and distinguish walking routes from activity areas. A restaurant booking remains independent of any show or water activity. Different family members can enjoy different interests without needing a packed itinerary.
The lagoon setting works even if a planned fountain show is not running. Choose a walking section with a convenient cafe or play-area meeting point, then treat a confirmed show as an addition. This keeps the outing useful while allowing individual businesses and activities to set their own schedules.
