Al Tawiyin Camp

Al Tawiyin Camp belongs to the mountain-adventure side of Fujairah rather than a standard city sightseeing circuit. The wider Al Tawiyin area offers a landscape for organised outdoor recreation, with the type of activity determining the preparation needed.

Discover Fujairah describes the area as a destination developed by Fujairah Adventure Centre for activities including mountain biking, hiking, camping and caving. These are different pursuits, not a single package automatically available to every visitor.

Choose a confirmed operator or programme before setting off. Ask whether your booking involves an overnight stay, a guided walk, riding or technical terrain, and establish the actual starting point. A photograph of tents in the mountains does not tell you which equipment, meals, transport or facilities are supplied.

The Fujairah Adventures authority limits hiking to its announced official season. Check the current season and route status rather than assuming cooler weather alone establishes permission. Caving and unfamiliar mountain tracks need their own specific authorisation and appropriate guidance.

For a first visit, a suitable introductory outing can be a better choice than combining several unfamiliar activities. Tell the operator your group's experience and any requirements that affect participation, then follow its equipment and clothing instructions. Keep the return journey and any overnight plan clear, and observe current rules on waste and fires.
