Jameel Arts Centre

Jameel Arts Centre is an open-access contemporary arts institution at Jaddaf Waterfront, between the Business Bay and Garhoud bridges on the Bur Dubai bank of the creek. Choose current exhibitions or a programme as the focus rather than expecting a permanent collection to remain identical on every visit.

The centre currently says admission is free, with visitors checking in at the Welcome Desk, and lists Tuesday as its closed day. Recheck the timetable and exhibition dates before travel. The operator describes a walk from Al Jaddaf Metro station; allow for that outdoor approach rather than treating the station as the entrance.

Personal photography is permitted under the published rules, while professional video equipment needs accreditation. Respect artworks and avoid food or drinks in galleries. A compact exhibition visit followed by the outdoor sculpture setting can be more rewarding than rushing every facility; workshops, group visits and special programmes should be checked separately.
