THE EXPERIENCE
Discover Al Wasl Plaza
Al Wasl Plaza is the central architectural landmark beneath Expo City Dubai’s dome. The operator currently lists the public attraction as free and available around the clock, but that does not establish a continuous projection show or admission to every event held there. Choose whether you want to see the structure or attend a particular programme.
Looking up at the dome by daylight and watching scheduled imagery after dark are different experiences. If projections are your reason for travelling, check the current programme instead of assuming they run whenever the plaza is accessible. A concert or special event may also bring separate tickets and access arrangements.
Use the plaza as a clear reference point in a compact Expo City walking route. Leave enough time to look at the structure from more than one angle without obstructing other visitors. Terra and Vision can add indoor content, but they are separate admissions with their own opening details. Plan the route back to parking or Metro before the group is tired rather than treating the whole district as a small plaza.
