Manama Museum

Manama Museum broadens an Ajman trip beyond beaches and the coastal fort museum. It occupies a twentieth-century fort in the emirate's inland Manama exclave, where the surrounding agricultural landscape gives the building a different context.

The official listing describes seven rooms with weaponry, Bedouin jewellery and handicrafts, as well as a guard tower and a well. Look at the objects together with the building: the fort served people living in this environment, and the collection helps connect protection, craft and everyday work.

The tourism authority also relates the surrounding palms to traditional falaj irrigation. That offers a useful theme for a visit without assuming the channels themselves are an open visitor attraction. Ask staff where landscape features can be viewed lawfully, and keep working farms and private land out of an improvised walking route.
